Visante OCT

  • Visante scan
The Visante OCT is a non contact instrument specializing in comprehensive visualisations of the cornea and anterior segment. The infra red light source allows assessment of the anterior chamber angle in glaucoma patients. Accurate data relating to corneal thickness and shape are obtained. Relative pachymetry maps show the deviation from normal corneal thickness and axial curvature indicates the overall corneal power. The colour coded maps emphasises areas where there is corneal thinning. The detailed precise images are used for pre and post op care of patients requiring corneal transplants, refractive surgery, ICL, Ferrara rings and glaucoma management.
